Rollit Backup
Overview
Save photos and videos from Rollit on your iPhone or iPad directly to a folder on your computer over local Wi-Fi.
Rollit Backup lets you choose where Rollit saves photos and videos from your iPhone or iPad on your computer. This extension is needed only when Rollit's Browser Connection is set to Device Name or Numeric IP Address. The Rollit page remains where you browse your Photos library and choose individual items, an album, or your full library. When you start saving, the extension asks you to choose or confirm a location. It creates a Rollit Backup folder inside that location and streams the selected original files directly into it. The extension is not needed when you use Rollit's Web Page connection at rollit.bytely.app. Chrome chooses and writes to the backup folder directly in that mode. WHAT ROLLIT BACKUP DOES • Lets you choose and change the location used for backups • Creates a Rollit Backup folder inside the chosen location • Saves original photos and videos as individual files without a ZIP • Transfers files directly from your iPhone or iPad over local Wi-Fi • Skips completed files when you resume an interrupted backup • Keeps photo browsing, selection, and progress in the Rollit page No cloud upload. No account. No analytics. No advertising. Requires Rollit with Back Up Photos, Chrome 116 or later, and both devices on the same local network.
