RMS - Screenshots
Overview
Attach screenshots to ReviewMySites comments without a share-your-screen prompt.
Screenshots for ReviewMySites, taken from the tab instead of your screen. Leaving visual feedback on a website normally means attaching a screenshot, and in a browser that means Chrome's "share your screen" prompt. The permission is tied to the page you granted it on, so it dies the moment you click a link, and a sharing indicator follows you around while it lasts. This extension takes that picture from the tab itself. • No "share your screen" prompt, and no sharing indicator • Keeps working as you move between pages • Nothing is captured unless a comment asks for it It does nothing on its own. Screenshots are taken only when you attach one to a comment on a site running ReviewMySites; there is no capture button, no background activity, and no recording of any kind.
