RIPHours counts the time you spend on the sites you choose and keeps adding it up from the day you install it. After a few months the number stops being "2h 14m" and starts being "9 days, 8 hours". That's the point. HOW IT COUNTS - Only the tab in front, in a focused window, while you've touched the page in the last minute. - Unmuted video or audio keeps the clock running, so an hour of YouTube is an hour. - Leave a tab open and walk away, and it stops. - Incognito is never counted. LIMITS THAT HOLD - Set daily minutes per site. - With hard block on, every tab of that site goes to a block page the moment time runs out, and stays there until midnight. - With hard block off, the page is paused behind a reminder you can snooze 10 minutes at a time. - Loosening a limit means typing "I am choosing to waste my limited time on earth doing nothing." by hand. Pasting is disabled. - Focus Surge blocks every tracked site for 25 minutes. ALSO - Today and all-time totals, the last 7 days, and a per-site breakdown. - Today's total on the toolbar badge. - A break reminder every 30 unbroken minutes and a recap at 9 PM. Both optional. - A share card image of your total. - CSV and JSON export, JSON import. - Dark, light or system theme, six accent colors. PRIVACY Usage stays in your browser. No server, no account, no analytics. Your sites, limits and settings sync through Chrome Sync if you use it. Usage time does not.
