Overview
Quickly create Google calendar events from natural language.
Quick Add was a Google Calendar feature that enabled creating calendar events from natural language text input. This is my attempt to carry on its legacy. Select any text that has date information (e.g. Movie at 2:30pm tomorrow) and right-click to add the event to your calendar. Alternatively, events can be created by clicking the app icon and entering the event info in the text box. Supports parsing dates in the following languages: - English - French - Dutch - Japanese - Russian - Portuguese - Ukrainian - Chinese - German - Spanish Source: https://github.com/mtimkovich/rip_quick_add

only works the the US date format. Most of the world does not use the US date format though.

I WAS dubious, but... Worked well for me! eg. I highlighted the text an email (I was using webmail via Chrome) > I right clicked > chose the RipQuickAdd Icon (which said "Add to Calendar etc" - Worked perfect👍 Exactly what I was after.

Pasted date, time, event title, and location directly from FB event. It took me to the wrong account's calendar, as the extension only supports the default Chrome account's calendar. The extension also didn't get the date, time, event title, and location (none of the info) parsed correctly. I'd love to have QuickAdd functionality back, but this was a bust.
