Rimeglass lets you blur parts of any web page before you share your screen, take a screenshot or record a video. Works in Chrome, Edge, Brave and other Chromium browsers. FREE AND PAID • Free: picking and blurring elements, blur / pixelate / solid, undo, peek, a list of your sites, export and import. • Needs a license: Find private info and Custom rules. The license of the Rimeglass desktop app includes them, or you can buy a license for the extension alone: US$9, one time, for life, on up to 3 of your browsers. Refunds: https://zelucode.com/refunds HOW IT WORKS (free) • Press the toolbar button (or the keyboard shortcut, Alt+Shift+X by default where it's free), hover an element and click it to blur. • Your blurs come back on every visit to that site. • Right-click any element: "Blur this element". • Choose blur, pixelate or solid cover, and how strong. FIND PRIVATE INFO (needs a license; off until you switch it on) Spots email addresses, card numbers, API keys and tokens, IP addresses, phone numbers, and password / card / email form fields. Choose per kind: Off, Suggest (outline and let you decide) or Blur. CUSTOM RULES (needs a license) Tell it what to look for: a customer id, a project name, an internal address, a list of names. Words or patterns, for all sites or only the ones you choose, with the same Suggest or Blur choice. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Your blurs, settings and rules stay on your device. No account, no analytics. • Nothing from the pages you visit is sent anywhere. The only network request is the license check, made when you enter a purchase key. • Page text is never saved. It is read only on your device, and only when Find private info or a custom rule is on. Rimeglass is also available as a desktop app that blurs images, PDFs, video, audio, text and your whole screen.
