Overview

Toggle YouTube comments on the right side instead of recommendations.

OPEN SOURCE This extension moves the comments to the right side of the YouTube video, making it possible to read comments while watching YouTube in the browser. It will automatically hide the recommendations, so it will be harder to get trapped in a mindless video consumption loop. The descriptions is automatically expanded, as there is nothing below it anyway, so there's no point hiding it. The toggle shortcut is Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + Y. Can also be toggled by clicking the extension, and then clicking the slider button. Works for light and dark mode. NOTE: screenshots have everything with square edges (video, buttons, profile pictures) - this isn't done using RSC, it's done using a UBlock Origin filter. Some changes in the screenshots are done by other extensions, this extension only moves comments, removes recommendations and expands the description.
