Overview

Quick access to image and video information from right-click menu

Media Info Viewer - Web Media Information Viewer A simple yet powerful browser extension that allows you to easily view detailed information about images and videos on web pages. Key Features: Right-click any image or video to view detailed information Display original dimensions, display size, and file size of media files Support for various image formats (JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, etc.) Show video duration, frame rate, and bitrate information Convenient functions for copying links, opening in new window, and downloading Compatible with most common websites, including social media platforms View page media list: Right-click on an empty space on the page and select "View Page Media List" to get an overview of all images and videos on the current page. The list allows for direct downloads and detailed viewing. Note: Right-click menu customization is not supported for non-standard video players (since right-clicking brings up the player's menu instead of Chrome's menu), such as YouTube. How to Use: After installation, right-click on any image or video on web pages Select "View Media Info" from the context menu Check detailed information in the popup window Choose to copy link, open in new window, or download directly Advantages: Clean and intuitive interface Quick and easy operation No configuration required Doesn't interfere with normal Browse Privacy-focused, no user data collection Updates: v1.0.2 Update: When downloading images, prioritize using the image's Alt/Title information for naming. v1.0.3 Update: When downloading images, users can choose whether to use the Alt/Title information or the original filename for naming. Fixed the issue where styles might slightly vary on certain web pages due to different website settings. v1.0.4 Update: New media list feature added! Right-click an empty area on the page and choose "View Page Media List" to see all media files at a glance, with options to download and view details. This makes managing and saving web media simple and efficient. Known Issues: On pages with strict Content Security Policy (CSP) restrictions, such as the Chrome Web Store, clicking may not function. Some video websites with complex technical architecture (like YouTube and Bilibili) currently cannot have their videos downloaded directly through the extension due to their unique video loading mechanisms. We are actively working on a solution.
