Translate selected text or the whole page without leaving it

Ribosome translates text right where you read it. Select a phrase and its translation appears in a small glass window beside it: no new tab, no copy and paste. Or translate the whole page in place. TRANSLATE A SELECTION • Select text and click the small icon next to it, or have the window open as soon as you select. • Pin windows to keep them on screen while you read on, and drag them anywhere. • Click a pinned window's source line to jump back to the original text. TRANSLATE THE WHOLE PAGE • Right-click › Ribosome › Translate page, press Alt+T, or use the button in the toolbar popup. • The text is replaced in place: the layout, links and buttons keep working. What's on screen goes first, the rest follows as you scroll, and new posts in a feed are translated as they appear. • Code, form fields and editable areas are left as they are. • On a page in another language, a small bar offers to translate it. Tick "Always translate this site" and the site is translated every time you open it. MORE • A second language: text that is already in your language is translated into your second language. • The toolbar popup translates anything you type or paste. • Light and dark theme, English and Russian interface, 41 languages. • Free, no account, no API key. When Google limits requests, Ribosome pauses, shows a countdown and retries on its own. PRIVACY Ribosome sends only the text you ask to translate to Google Translate.
