Check whether text reads as machine-written, then rewrite it in your own voice — right where you are writing it.

Paste a draft. Find out whether it reads as machine-written, before somebody else decides that for you. rewr.it does two things. CHECK Paste any text and get a reading: how machine-shaped it is, and which patterns produced that number. The scoring runs inside the extension, so nothing you check is sent anywhere. No account, no sign-up, and no daily limit, because there is no record being made. The number is a mapping from known patterns, not a measurement, and never a claim about who wrote something. You can open the list and argue with it. REWRITE Then put the words back in your own voice. You build that voice on rewr.it from writing you have already done, so what comes back was measured from you. Every rewrite shows its work: the machine-tell count before and after, a diff if you want to see exactly what moved, and any name, number or date that went missing or appeared. When a rewrite comes out worse than what you started with, it says so. IN GMAIL AND LINKEDIN Open the panel beside the message you are already writing. Grab the composer, rewrite, insert. Undo is there for thirty seconds if you change your mind. Everywhere else, paste into the panel. WHAT IT WILL NOT DO It will not invent facts, and it flags the ones that move. It will not keep your drafts. The panel forgets them when you close it, and the only thing stored on your machine is your API key. It is not sold as a way to defeat AI detectors.
