Find your place in YouTube videos. Keep the notes and moments you want to revisit. RewatchKit brings chapters, timestamped notes, saved clips and clip playlists to desktop Chrome. Jump to a chapter in a long tutorial, jot down a useful idea, repeat a part you want to practise, or play saved clips from different videos in your own order. Four ways to make videos easier to revisit - Chapters: Browse chapter titles and jump to a timestamp. Find chapters in the currently loaded video description or comments. Detection is not available for every video; manual chapter entry is supported. - Notes: Save an idea or key point with the video's timestamp. Click a saved timestamp to return to that moment. - Clips: Name and save a start and end time, then play or loop that part. Repeat all saved clips in one video, or organize them by source video in Studio. - Playlists: Combine saved clips from different videos, reorder them and play them in sequence. Repeat the whole list when you want. These playlists contain your saved clips, not entire videos. Edit a saved clip's name, start and end times later. In Studio, keep your clip library beside a playlist and drag clips to add or reorder them; button controls are also available. Find clips with favorites and tag search. Recent changes & undo can reverse up to 10 edits or deletions from the past 24 hours (permanent whole-video deletion is excluded). Playback continues when Studio closes; reopen it to control the same tabs. Free limits and license activation Save up to 30 clips and 3 playlists for free. Chapters, timestamped notes, playback, looping and backups are included. A one-time purchase unlocks the clip and playlist count limits. Existing content stays playable, editable and exportable even above the free limits. After purchase, the limits are 1,000 clips, 200 playlists and 1,000 entries per playlist. This lifts the free limits; it is not unlimited storage. Activation and periodic revalidation connect to Lemon Squeezy. License credentials are excluded from content backups. The optional one-time purchase is listed at JPY 1,980 including tax. Payments are converted to USD. Check the final currency and amount at checkout; a card charge in JPY may differ from JPY 1,980. Backup and restore Export and import committed notes, chapters, clips, playlists, favorites and tags using a local JSON file. Uncommitted drafts, undo history and optional recently played history are not included. Storage and privacy No account is required for the free features. Saved notes and clip data are held in the Chrome profile's extension storage and are not automatically uploaded to a developer-operated server. Compatibility and limits Works on desktop Chrome with regular youtube.com/watch videos. Shorts, livestreams, embedded videos, YouTube Music and other video sites are not supported. Video/audio are not downloaded or merged. Playback uses ordinary YouTube tabs, so transitions can have delays and ads or autoplay restrictions may interrupt playback.
