Keep the moments worth replaying. RewatchKit brings chapters, timestamped notes, saved clips and clip playlists to YouTube in desktop Chrome. Save the parts you want while watching, then find and revisit them in your library. What you can do • Save clips: Set a start and end time and give the clip a name. Start with the last 10 seconds, a chapter or a note's timestamp. Preview or loop a range before saving, and edit its name and times later. • Take timestamped notes: Save an idea or key point with its place in the video. Select the timestamp to return to that moment. • Navigate chapters: Find chapter candidates in the loaded description or comments, then jump to a chapter. Manual entry is supported. Chapter detection is not available for every video. • Build playlists: Arrange saved clips from different videos in your own order and play them in sequence. Reorder clips, repeat a range or loop the whole list. • Organize your library: Search across saved clips, notes and videos. Use favorites and tags for clips, and view or edit details alongside your library. Ways to use RewatchKit • Keep an explanation from a lecture or tutorial to revisit. • Repeat a phrase you want to hear or a musical passage you want to practise. • Return to a step in a process with your own timestamped notes. • Collect favorite moments from different videos and replay them in your own order. Free limits and one-time purchase Save up to 30 clips and 3 playlists for free. Chapters, timestamped notes, playback, looping and backups are included. The optional one-time purchase is listed at JPY 1,980 including tax. After activation, you can save up to 1,000 clips and 200 playlists, with up to 1,000 entries per playlist. Payments are converted to USD. Check the final currency and amount at checkout; a card charge in JPY may differ from JPY 1,980. Activation and periodic revalidation require a connection to Lemon Squeezy. Existing saved content remains viewable, editable, playable and exportable even above the free limits. Storage and backups No account is required for the free features. Notes and saved data stay in the current Chrome profile's extension storage and are not automatically uploaded to developer-operated servers. Export and import committed notes, chapters, clips, playlists, favorites and tags using a JSON file. Unsaved drafts, playback history, undo history, settings and license credentials are excluded from content backups. Back up your data before uninstalling the extension or deleting your Chrome profile. External connections Video playback and thumbnails make requests to YouTube/Google. Optional license activation sends your license key and related activation data to Lemon Squeezy, without your notes, clips or playlist contents. English and Japanese interfaces, with light and dark themes. Shorts, livestreams, embedded videos, YouTube Music and other video sites are not supported. Clips save timestamps in the original video. RewatchKit does not download or merge video or audio files. Playback uses ordinary YouTube tabs, so video transitions can have delays and ads or autoplay restrictions may interrupt playback.
