Uptime monitoring: your browser checks a public URL about every minute and earns points on your Revolution Network account.

Revolution Network is a distributed uptime-monitoring network. This extension turns your browser into a lightweight monitoring node. HOW IT WORKS 1. Sign in with your Revolution Network account (email or Google). 2. Press the start button in the popup. 3. About once a minute, the extension asks the Revolution Network API for a public website to check, requests it once, measures the HTTP status and response time, and reports "up" or "down" back to the API. 4. Each validated check credits points to your account. WHAT IS SENT - To api.revolution-network.fr: your sign-in session token, and the result of each check (target ID, HTTP status, response time, up/down). - To the monitored website: a single anonymous request, sent without cookies or credentials. As with any web request, that website sees your IP address. WHAT THIS EXTENSION DOES NOT DO - It does not read, record or send your browsing history or page content. - It does not route your traffic through a proxy and does not change browser settings. - It does not mine cryptocurrency or run intensive computations. - It does not inject scripts into the pages you visit. - It only requests HTTPS websites and never local or private addresses.
