Revise: Write Anything Better

Write, rewrite and fix text on any site, in your own voice. Select text to rewrite it, or write a reply from a one line ask.

Revise rewrites the text you select, right where you selected it. Highlight a sentence in any text box and a small bar appears under it: Rewrite, Fix, Adjust. Press Rewrite and the new text replaces the old in place, with Shorter, Longer and Undo one click away. Nothing is copied into another tab. Say what should change Adjust opens a small card at your text. Type what you want, such as "warmer, and say we're closed Sunday", or pick Shorter, Longer, Casual or Formal. Revise keeps your meaning and your voice, and you can ask for another change on top of the result. Rough notes in, a first draft out Open Revise in Chrome's side panel, type a few rough notes, and get a first draft that uses only what you gave it. Add the Google Doc you are working in, then press Insert to put the draft at your cursor. Or right-click an empty field and choose Write here. Sounds like you Revise learns how you write for work, casual and long-form writing. When your voice shaped a result, the card says "Your voice". Choose your writer Quick for the everyday, Reasoning for the ones that have to land, Best for the ones that matter. Every result names the writer that wrote it.
