Overview

An A-F community grade for any product, read from Reddit, Hacker News and Steam. No coupons, no affiliate links, no tracking.

Before you buy something, you probably search Reddit for it. ReviewSwarm does that for you and reads the answer. On an Amazon product page or a Google product search, it finds the real discussions about that exact product, reads the top comments, and shows you a single A-F community grade with a plain-English summary of what people said. WHAT IT SHOWS - A community grade from A to F, with the percentage positive and how many opinions it is based on. - How much weight that grade can bear. A letter drawn from eight opinions and one drawn from thirty look very different, so each grade is marked as a limited, fair or strong read. - A one-line consensus and the subjects people kept returning to. - The discussions it read, so you can check the grade against the source. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO - No coupons, no affiliate links, no price tracking, no cashback. - No account, no sign-in, no analytics, no telemetry. - Nothing is sent anywhere. There is no ReviewSwarm server. Your browser talks to Reddit directly, and the reading and grading happen on your own machine. HOW IT DECIDES WHAT COUNTS Most of the work is refusing to count the wrong things. - The exact product, not a near one. An iPhone 14 Pro search is not graded on iPhone 14 threads, and vice versa. - Threads about two products at once are shown but not graded, because a comparison praises and damns both. - Deal posts, giveaways, build logs, guides, product announcements and accessory threads are left out. None of them is a verdict on the thing. - Opinions are read in context. "Not great" is not praise, a sentence about the product someone switched to is not evidence about this one, and a quoted line is not the commenter's view. WHEN IT SAYS NOTHING If there is not enough real discussion to be confident, no panel appears at all. Silence is better than a confident wrong answer. A search from the toolbar popup will say so plainly instead, since you asked directly.
