Overview

Keyboard shortcuts for GitHub pull request reviews: mark files viewed, jump to the next unviewed file, and track review progress.

Reviewing a 40-file pull request means a lot of trips to the Viewed checkbox. This puts it under your fingers. Press V to mark the file you're reading as viewed. Press Shift+V to mark it and land on the next unviewed file. A small counter in the corner tells you how many are left, and pressing Z undoes the one you got wrong. Shortcuts V mark viewed / not viewed Shift+V mark viewed, go to the next unviewed file U next unviewed file Shift+U mark every file viewed, or clear them all Z undo the last change, including a whole mark-all pass J / K next / previous file C collapse or expand the current file F hide viewed files Shift+Y copy the current file path Shift+H show the list Every key is rebindable. Four of them also work as browser-level shortcuts when the page doesn't have focus. Works on both of GitHub's diff views, including the newer Files changed experience. Shortcuts pause while you're typing a comment. No account, no sign-in, no tracking. The extension runs only on github.com and sends nothing anywhere. Not affiliated with GitHub, Inc.
