Review Bell
Overview
Never miss a GitHub PR review again.
Review Bell watches your GitHub repositories and alerts you the moment a pull request needs your attention — so you never slow down your team by missing a review request. HOW IT WORKS 1. Enter your GitHub personal access token (classic PAT with the "repo" scope). 2. Pick the repositories you want to monitor from a searchable list loaded directly from GitHub. 3. Review Bell checks for open pull requests every 30 minutes in the background, and you can trigger a manual check anytime with one click. WHEN IT NOTIFIES YOU • A pull request you haven't reviewed yet is open. • A pull request you already reviewed has received new commits since your last review. Review Bell won't spam you — once you've been notified about a PR, it stays quiet until something actually changes. PRIVACY Your token and settings are stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage. No data is ever sent to any server other than the GitHub API. The extension developer has zero visibility into your activity. Full privacy policy: https://erickgnclvs.github.io/review-bell/privacy-policy.html PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED • Storage — saves your token and repository selection locally. • Alarms — runs background checks every 30 minutes. • Notifications — alerts you when a PR needs your review. • api.github.com — the only external service the extension communicates with. REQUIREMENTS A GitHub account and a personal access token (classic) with the "repo" scope. Works with personal repositories, organization repositories, and any repo you collaborate on.
