Fantastic chrome extension. So far, all features still work as described. It lets me know in live time, if one of my comments are shadowbanned or removed.

It seems recently uBlock Original has issues with reveddit- everything results in "No comments or posts were found."

I just updated the site so it should alert you when you exceed API limits. I don't think the issue was uBlock. It had to do with the changes Reddit made to its API last year.

William Feely's review about the intrusive ads on the Reveddit website is 100% accurate. uBlock is an absolute must for this extension, and the first thing you should do on the site is create the following filters: ##.ReactModalPortal ##div[data-react-modal-body-trap] ##body:remove-class(ReactModal__Body--open) Then refresh.

Pop-up ad for the author's substack that appears on every page load of the associated site, degrades the usability of both the add-on and the site. And yes, the site is an important part because it's needed to know what particular item was removed. The add-on only gives stats on removed or approved posts.

This is the third inaccurate review you've left. Again, the website does not require the extension. The extension maintains its own record of exactly what content was removed, not just "stats." If you used it for any length of time you would know that.

December 2023 Update: Problem appears to be fixed. Extension also shows a few helpful notes inline on Reddit.com. Cautious optimism. Updated score to 3/5. __________ Warning me of comments from 1+ years ago as if they were new. Too annoying to be useful, at least at the moment. An excellent idea marred by a bugged experience. 1/5

That was probably a result of the recent blackout, where mods took several subs private. When subreddits go private, your content there is wiped from your public history on Reddit. That has the effect of shifting older comments into your most recent 100 items. The extension has limited sync memory, so the shift may make it see things it has not seen or does not "remember." When they go public, there is another shift of your visible comment history. These shifts may result in extraneous alerts about older content. But that should only happen around this period when groups are going private and then becoming public again. It's fair to call this a bug, though I'm unlikely to address it any time soon since it is a rare event. It could also have been the first alert for your account when you added the extension, and those 1+ year ago comments were within your last 100 comments. My guess though is it was the blackout. Thanks for your report! Criticism like this helps me improve the tool.

Gosh.... I had absolutely no idea how often comments were being stealth moderated. Not trolls, perfectly respectful & civil comments disappearing without notice to the user. Ironically mentioning reveddit gets comments stealthed.

This extension quite literally shows you how terrifying the moderators are across Reddit and subreddits. Automod removes tons of posts across subreddits for rules that are mostly obfuscated. Mods removing threads and orphaning posts to lower visibility impacting hundreds of comments. Comments being removed for unknown reasons. Anyone who posts to Reddit on a daily basis is going to discover just how much stuff gets removed on themselves if they start posting more often, especially when it com... Show more

I am having the same issue of being logged out of my account every so often (chrome browser). Nothing like this ever happened before I installed the extension.

Please note, reddit issued a fix for sporadic logouts. See: https://www.reddit.com/r/help/comments/pxd7l5/deploying_a_fix_sporadic_logouts_while_browsing/ https://www.reveddit.com/v/help/comments/pxcqfz/oldreddit_constantly_temporarily_logging_outhave/ I don't know if that was related or was a separate issue.
