Reuse Tabs
Overview
Switch to the tab that already shows a page instead of opening it again
Reuse Tabs keeps each page in a single tab. When a tab is about to open a page that another tab already shows, the extension closes the new tab and switches to the existing one instead. Features • Catches links, the address bar, bookmarks, redirects, and single-page app routes. • Pause interception from the toolbar panel when you need several copies open. The setting survives browser restarts. • Merge duplicates across all windows in one click, with a confirmation before anything closes. • Never closes pinned tabs. • Works entirely on your device. There is no server, no analytics, and nothing is uploaded. Only http and https pages take part. Pages are matched by normalized URL: the # fragment, host-name case, and a trailing slash are ignored; the query string is kept. Private windows and Firefox containers are matched separately, so separate accounts stay separate. Reuse Tabs is also available for Edge and Firefox.
