Overview

Ask Retti about the YouTube video you are watching: structure, hooks, retention strategy, and how it compares to your own uploads.

Retti adds a small panel at the top of the right column on any YouTube watch page. Pick a question and Retti answers about the video you are watching, grounded in its transcript. What you can ask - Break down the structure: the segments in order, how the video re-hooks at each transition, and where attention leaks. - Retention strategies used: each technique, where it happens, and why it holds viewers. - Idea or execution: whether the video's success came from the idea and packaging or from the craft. - Compare with my uploads: how it differs from your recent videos, using your channel's real data. - Rate the hook: what the first 30 seconds promise and whether they hold. - What to take from this: concrete, adapted takeaways for your next upload. - Break down this moment: pause the player anywhere and ask about that moment. Your own uploads When the video on the page is one of your own synced uploads, the questions change. Retti has that video's real retention curve, so you can ask why the dip at a given moment happened, where you lost viewers, what held them, and how the video compares with your average. Every answer - Timestamps are clickable and seek the player. - Follow-up questions are anchored in the answer you just got. - Copy the answer, or export it as PDF or Word. - Answers appear in your Retti AI history on retti.ai. Requirements A Retti account (retti.ai). Sign in from the panel with an emailed code. Messages use your Retti AI usage, the same pool as the chat on the site. Free accounts can connect; asking questions needs a plan with Retti AI usage. ``` **Category:** Productivity **Language:** English
