Identify games on YouTube from titles, clues, or the current video frame using Chrome's on-device AI, plus Wikidata facts.

RetroTrace adds a retro-styled game identification and reference panel to YouTube. Identify the game in a video from its title, from a clue you type, or by analyzing the current video frame. When supported, Chrome's built-in on-device Local AI can turn messy video text or visual clues from the current frame into a likely game title. AI results may not always be accurate. RetroTrace then searches Wikidata for game information and Wikimedia Commons for available media. Video-frame analysis only occurs when you explicitly choose to identify the current frame. Local AI identification uses Chrome's built-in on-device AI when available, and the selected frame or game clue is not sent to a cloud AI service. Online game lookups are sent only to Wikidata and Wikimedia Commons.
