RetinaFlow is a Chrome extension that turns one ophthalmology exam dictation into structured chart entries inside your EMR. It replaces the typing tax of a virtual scribe with software you control. WHO IT'S FOR RetinaFlow is built for practicing ophthalmologists who want a single, predictable dictation-to-chart workflow. Every prompt and field mapping is tuned for the way ophthalmology exams are documented — exam findings, diagnostic test orders, and impression/plan updates — not a generic medical scribe. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open a patient chart in your EMR and click the RetinaFlow button. 2. Dictate or type once. Cover anything you would normally say to a scribe — exam findings, diagnostic test orders, impression/plan updates. 3. Review the AI's understanding, edit if needed, then click Execute. RetinaFlow fills every section live while you watch. WHAT GETS FILLED - Exam · External, Anterior Segment, Posterior Segment, Gonio - Diagnostics · OCT RNFL, OCT Macula, HVF 24-2, IOL Master, and most other catalog tests - Impressions & Plan · diagnosis rows plus free-text treatment plans A single dictation maps to a unified action plan. COMPATIBILITY & BETA STATUS RetinaFlow is currently in closed beta and is optimized for specific ophthalmology EMR workflows. Compatibility details are confirmed during beta onboarding. WHAT'S INCLUDED IN BETA - Free during closed beta - Allowlist required — sign in via the RetinaFlow webapp using your invited email. If you're not invited, contact dundysm@gmail.com. - Unlimited dictations during beta - Direct line to the developer for bug reports and feature requests PRIVACY & SECURITY - Authentication is handled by Clerk. We never see or store your password. - AI parsing runs through Anthropic (Claude). Dictations are processed per request and not used to train third-party models beyond per-request inference. - Our backend runs on Cloudflare Workers with an Anthropic API key held only as a Worker secret. The key never reaches your browser. - Account data and usage logs are stored in Cloudflare D1.
