ResumeStride Job Capture

Capture and review a job, then save it in ResumeStride for Match Analysis and your job-specific resume.

Save one supported job posting to ResumeStride, then compare its requirements with the evidence in your resume. When a role is worth pursuing, create a separate job-specific resume while your master resume stays unchanged. HOW IT WORKS - Open a supported public job page and click ResumeStride Job Capture. - Review and edit the captured title, company, location, source, and description. - Send the reviewed details to ResumeStride, sign in, and choose “Save job and see how I match.” - Review what your resume clearly demonstrates, partly demonstrates, or does not yet demonstrate for that role. - If you continue, create a separate job-specific resume and review each optional AI suggestion before accepting or rejecting it. WHY RESUMESTRIDE IS DIFFERENT - Your master resume remains unchanged. - Match is evidence-based and works through the role’s requirements instead of presenting a hiring probability. - “Not demonstrated” means the evidence is not currently in the resume; it does not claim that you lack the qualification. - Each role can have its own separate resume version. - AI suggestions stay under your control. Nothing is accepted automatically. SUPPORTED PUBLIC JOB PAGES - Greenhouse public job pages. - Selected Lever pages whose job URL contains a stable UUID. - Pages with one reliable, unambiguous JSON-LD JobPosting, including some Workday pages that expose that metadata. ResumeStride does not claim universal job-site support. LinkedIn and Indeed are not supported. JSON-LD support means the page provides one structured job posting with the required title, employer, description, and reliable page identity; it does not mean “works everywhere.” If capture is unavailable, enter the public job details manually in ResumeStride. Always review the employer, source, and description before saving. Long descriptions may be truncated and are marked for review. PRIVACY AND TRUST The extension reads the chosen tab only after you click it. It keeps one temporary session capture for review or retry, expires it after 30 minutes of inactivity, and sends it only to https://resumestride.com after you choose Send. It does not collect browsing history across sites, read passwords or resume drafts, apply to jobs, run background job searches, or receive your ResumeStride sign-in token. A ResumeStride account is required to save a job. Free and Pro limits apply in the web app. Match is not an ATS success score, hiring probability, or employment guarantee. CONTINUE IN RESUMESTRIDE After reviewing the capture, continue in the ResumeStride web app to save the role, see Match evidence, create a separate job-specific resume, and review optional tailoring suggestions.
