Overview
Bring back the classic Dim mode on X (formerly Twitter). Smooth, dark blue, and easy on the eyes. Or choose any shade you like!
Miss the classic dark blue "Dim" mode on Twitter? Restore Dim Mode for X/Twitter is the ultimate lightweight solution to bring back your favorite viewing experience. ✨ Features - Classic Dim Restoration: Instantly reverts the harsh black background to the beloved dark blue theme. - Full Color Customization: Use our color picker to select ANY background color that suits your eyes. Or choose from a variety of carefully selected presets! - Native Integration: Works seamlessly with X’s UI—it feels like a built-in feature, not a clunky overlay. - Lightning Fast: Optimized to load instantly without slowing down your browsing. - Privacy Focused: No tracking, no ads, and minimal permissions required. 🚀 How to Use 1. Install the extension. 2. Open X.com or Twitter.com. 3. Click the extension icon in your toolbar to open the settings. 4. Toggle it on and pick your perfect background color (Classic Dim is pre-set!). 💡 Why "Dim"? Pure black "Lights Out" modes can sometimes cause "Halation" (text glowing/blurring) for users with astigmatism. A soft dim background (like the original #15202b) provides high contrast with significantly less eye strain. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 📬 SUPPORT & FEEDBACK ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Questions or found a bug?
