In this version, pitch and playback tempo change together. For example, converting A=440 Hz to A=432 Hz plays at approximately 0.9818× speed. ABOUT ANALYSIS A song contains many frequencies, so the extension does not claim that a song has one frequency. It estimates the recording's musical reference tuning from stable detected pitches. Results are approximate and work best with sustained tonal music. Speech, percussion, noise, analogue drift and unusual tuning systems may reduce confidence or prevent a result.
