RescueKit Companion
Overview
Relay transaction calldata from dApps to RescueKit for safe recovery.
RescueKit Companion helps users extract transaction calldata from Web3 dApps when recovering assets from compromised wallets. The Problem: When a wallet has zero gas funds (such as after being drained by sweeper bots), many dApps automatically gray out or lock their interaction buttons (e.g., "Claim Airdrop", "Withdraw", or "Transfer") with an "Insufficient balance for gas" prompt. Because the button is disabled, the user cannot initiate the interaction to generate the transaction parameters. The Solution: RescueKit Companion acts as a local developer companion that: 1. Simulates a temporary local gas balance to dApp frontends so interaction buttons are unlocked. 2. Captures the generated contract address and transaction calldata when the user clicks the button. 3. Relays the calldata to the RescueKit Web recovery interface (https://rescuekit.app), allowing the transaction to be bundled and executed with external sponsored gas. Security & Privacy: • Zero private keys: The extension never asks for, handles, or stores private keys or seed phrases. • Safe calldata extraction only: The extension does not sign or broadcast transactions directly on-chain. • Runs 100% locally in your browser.
