Reroute - URL Rewrite Rules

Redirect and rewrite URLs with wildcard or regex rules, and strip tracking parameters automatically. Imports Redirector rules.

Reroute rewrites URLs by rules you write. Send one site to another, fix a URL pattern you keep landing on, unwrap redirect links, or open mobile pages on the desktop site. It also removes tracking parameters (utm_*, fbclid, gclid and hundreds more) from page navigations before the request leaves the browser. Rules - Wildcard patterns (each * becomes a capture group) or JavaScript regular expressions, with $1..$9 substitutions in the target. - Exclude patterns, per-rule enable switch, drag to reorder; the first matching rule wins. - Transforms applied to captures: URL-decode, URL-encode, Base64 decode/encode, lower-case, upper-case. - Rules that the browser can express natively run in the declarativeNetRequest layer (no JavaScript involved and they apply to sub-resources too when you choose "all requests"). Rules that need transforms or exclusions run through a small background fallback on page navigations, including single-page-app history changes such as YouTube Shorts to the normal watch page. Loop protection stops rules that redirect into each other. - Live tester: paste a URL in the rule editor and see exactly what it becomes and which captures matched. - Activity log of what fired, with the from and to URLs, kept locally. Tracking-parameter cleaner - A static ruleset compiled at build time from the ClearURLs catalog (LGPL-3.0, attribution included in the package). It is never downloaded at runtime and can be switched off. - Per-site allowlist: turn Reroute off for a site from the popup or the Allowlist page. - "Copy clean link" in the right-click menu and "Clean & copy current URL" in the popup. Import and export - Imports Redirector rule files (.json exports with includePattern, redirectUrl, patternType, processMatches, appliesTo) and shows a preview before anything is applied. - Exports your rules as JSON so they are never locked in. Reroute Pro is a one-time $9 purchase (no subscription) that adds: mirroring your rules through Chrome's built-in storage sync so they follow your signed-in profile, curated rule packs you can install with one click, and shareable rule-set links (the rules are encoded in the link itself; no server is involved). Privacy Rules and the activity log are stored on your computer. There are no analytics and no accounts. The only network request the extension itself makes is to Lemon Squeezy's licence API when a Pro key is activated or revalidated.
