✨ What It Does: 🔍 Tracks every text highlight you make online 🕒 Saves the time you highlighted it and the page URL 📋 Shows a clean list of your highlights in a popup window 💾 Remembers what you read, skimmed, or copied — even by accident 🧠 Why It's Useful: Recall quotes, facts, or phrases you found interesting Revisit articles you skimmed or partially read Track research progress across topics and sessions Build your own learning breadcrumb trail, without lifting a finger 🛠️ How It Works: Lightweight, fast, and fully local — no account needed Uses simple browser APIs (document.getSelection(), chrome.storage.local) No back-end, no cloud (unless you want that later!) 🔧 Coming Soon: 🔍 Search bar for your saved highlights 🏷️ Tag highlights by topic ☁️ Sync across devices (optional) 📤 Export to Markdown, Notion, or CSV 🖱️ Right-click to “Save Highlight” 🧪 Example: You highlight a quote on a blog → a subtle “💾 Saved” toast appears. Later, open ReReadIt → boom, it’s there with the article link and date. 📦 Fully Private: All data is stored locally in your browser. You’re in control.
