Overview

Inspect network requests on the selected tab only when you explicitly start capture.

RequestIQ – Network & API Inspector RequestIQ helps developers inspect network activity from a convenient Chrome Side Panel. Capture and examine requests as you browse, without keeping DevTools open. Inspect Network Traffic Start and stop capture for the selected tab whenever you need it. View network activity in real time, including HTTP requests, Fetch, XMLHttpRequest (XHR), WebSocket connections, Server-Sent Events, and other browser resources. For each captured request, inspect available details such as: - HTTP method, URL, and query parameters - Request and response headers - Request payload - Response status and size - Request timing information Identify Security-Relevant Details RequestIQ highlights potentially sensitive information found in captured traffic, helping you investigate how a website communicates with its services. Depending on the captured data, findings can include authorization headers, tokens, API keys, session cookies, sensitive parameters, and commonly used API paths. Findings are grouped by severity to help you prioritize what to review. These indicators are intended to support manual inspection and do not guarantee that a vulnerability exists. Search and Filter Requests Find relevant traffic without sorting through every entry. Filter requests by HTTP method, resource type, status code, URL, hostname, or path. You can also narrow the view to requests with security findings. Export and Review Export captured data for debugging, documentation, or further analysis. RequestIQ supports JSON, CSV, HAR, Markdown, and plain-text exports. Live Traffic Statistics Get an overview of captured activity with statistics such as request counts, unique domains, HTTP methods, failed requests, response times, response sizes, and frequently contacted domains. Customize Your Workflow Adjust request history limits, exclude specific domains or resource types, filter HTTP methods, and choose between dark and light themes. Your preferences are saved locally. Privacy RequestIQ is designed to keep captured network data on your device. It does not upload or share captured traffic with an external service. Captured traffic may contain sensitive information. Review it carefully before sharing exported files. Permissions - Debugger: Uses Chrome's debugging protocol to capture and inspect network activity in the selected tab after you start capture. - Storage: Saves extension preferences and locally stored data. - Side Panel: Displays the RequestIQ interface alongside your current tab. Supported Browsers Designed for Google Chrome. Compatibility with other Chromium-based browsers may vary.
