Overview

Add, edit, enable, disable, and remove HTTP request headers for selected websites.

Request Header Studio helps developers, testers, and support teams create and manage custom HTTP request headers directly in Chrome. Use it to test APIs, route traffic to preview environments, enable debugging modes, validate integrations, and troubleshoot web applications without changing application code. Key features: Add or replace HTTP request headers Remove existing request headers Edit saved rules Temporarily enable or disable rules Restrict rules to specific domains Apply rules to matching browser requests Save configurations locally in Chrome Delete rules when they are no longer needed Example use cases include: Adding an X-Debug header during testing Routing requests to a preview or staging environment Testing API behavior with custom headers Enabling feature flags controlled by request headers Temporarily disabling a rule without deleting it Request Header Studio stores rule configurations locally using Chrome extension storage. It does not require an external account or backend service. Use caution when adding sensitive values such as authentication tokens, API keys, cookies, or credentials. Configured headers may be sent to any website matched by the selected rule.
