Overview

Debug web APIs and AI conversations in your browser. Read streamed answers, continue chats and compare requests locally.

Reqorder is a browser extension for recording and testing APIs. Save requests made by a page, edit and replay them, or send a new request yourself. Parameters, responses and follow-up tests stay together in request history so you can investigate an issue and compare the results. It also has dedicated views and next-turn controls for testing AI model APIs. ### Testing AI model APIs Reading view supports OpenAI-compatible Chat Completions, Responses and Claude Messages. It displays streamed answers as Markdown, with reasoning, tool arguments and reported token usage shown separately. Raw SSE is always available for checking the original response. Context view shows the instructions, user messages, previous answers and tool results included in a request. Expand the original JSON, model settings or tool definitions to check exactly what was sent. After a manual request completes, type a follow-up below the answer. If the model requested tools, enter a result for each call and continue the conversation. Parallel calls are matched separately, including calls to the same tool. Preview request and send opens the complete next request for review and editing before you send it, with new messages marked in the context. Each turn is saved. Move between turns or return to an older response to try a different reply or tool result. Required reasoning information is retained, including Doubao Seed encrypted reasoning. Tool results are entered manually; Reqorder does not execute tools. Start a request with one of 18 templates for basic chat, instructions, conversation history, tool definitions and results. Missing authentication fields are added without replacing existing settings. Search and select a model from the endpoint's list, load more models where supported, or enter a name yourself. Missing keys and authentication failures have clear prompts. Separate first-response and idle timeouts accommodate longer answers and reasoning. Reasoning duration updates live and stops when that phase ends. You can pause the display, return to the latest content, search highlighted matches or replay a typing animation. Search supports case, whole-word and regex modes. Long responses and context use the page scrollbar. Reading view formats received data locally. It does not call another model to generate a replacement answer. ### Sending and reusing requests Send JSON, text, URL-encoded forms and multiple file uploads, including repeated field names. Common header names and values have suggestions. Existing API keys are masked, revealed for editing and masked again when the field loses focus. Flag requests you reuse, then find them in the sidebar and load their method, URL, headers and body. Make your changes and send as a new request. It appears immediately in history while waiting for the result. Concurrent requests, cancellation and error responses are supported. Drafts survive closing the editor and refreshing the history tab. ### Recording, organising and comparing Enable recording per tab to capture fetch/XHR calls as they start and follow streamed responses as they arrive. Browse and filter WebSocket messages. Optional extra header capture adds information such as cookies when investigating signed-in requests. Organise tasks into sessions, browse by domain, flag and annotate requests, and batch-move or delete them. Filter unrelated calls, block domains and search URLs, headers, bodies and notes. After changing a prompt, model or API parameter, compare the requests and responses side by side, including across environments. Import/export ZIP and HAR, or copy requests as cURL, PowerShell or fetch snippets to reproduce a case. ### Local storage Captures and drafts stay in your browser. There are no uploads to a Reqorder service, analytics or telemetry. Sending requests, continuing a conversation and loading model lists contact your configured endpoints. Exports mask sensitive headers by default, with an option to include real values. File-upload bytes are not saved in history or exports; select files again after refresh or when reusing a stored request. The interface supports English and Chinese, with dark, light and system themes. Next-turn replies require a complete, supported manually sent request. References to server-held history indicate that context may be incomplete, and responses that cannot be automatically continued show a reason.
