Overview

Create and switch profile-based request-header rules for exact HTTPS hosts you approve.

ReqKit is a focused request-header manager for API development, QA, and web-environment testing. Create custom request headers for exact HTTPS hosts, organize them into profiles, and switch the active setup without repeatedly changing application or browser configuration. With ReqKit you can: • Add, edit, pause, and delete request headers for the current site. • Review rules by profile and hostname in a compact Rule Manager. • Apply a profile until you turn it off, for one hour, for eight hours, or until Chrome closes. • Keep site access explicit: Chrome asks for permission only for the HTTPS hosts you choose. • Detect duplicate or conflicting active headers. • Mask sensitive-looking header values in the popup. ReqKit stores profiles, approved hostnames, activation settings, and header rules locally in your Chrome profile. It has no analytics, advertising, account system, remote code, or developer-operated backend. When a rule is enabled, Chrome sends its configured header value only to the exact HTTPS host you approved. ReqKit does not read page content or response bodies and does not send your settings or header values to its developer. Install ReqKit if you need a compact, reversible way to switch request-header configurations across different profiles and/or environments.
