Overview

View Watchers, Forks, and Stargazers of a repository in one place.

RepoView - See who watches, forks, and stars a GitHub repository, all in one modal RepoView adds an Activities button next to Star on every GitHub repository page. One click opens a modal listing the repository's watchers, forks, and stargazers side by side, so you never have to leave the page you are reading. GitHub keeps those three lists on three separate pages, and checking them means navigating away and finding your place again. RepoView puts them in one place instead. [ Key Features ] - Three lists, one modal: switch between Watchers, Forks, and Stargazers as tabs. Every row shows an avatar, the username, and a link to the profile. Stargazers show when the star was given, and forks show the forked repository and when it was created. - No navigation: the modal opens over the page you are already on, and closes with Escape, a click on the backdrop, or the close button. Focus returns to the Activities button afterwards. - Native look: RepoView reuses GitHub's own Primer design tokens, so it follows the light, dark, and dimmed themes automatically. The Activities button matches the size and style of the Star button beside it. - Built for large repositories: lists load 100 accounts at a time and continue automatically as you scroll, with an explicit Load more button as well. - Careful with the rate limit: only the tab you actually open makes a request, and results are cached for about seven minutes so reopening the modal costs nothing. - Personal access token: since June 2026 GitHub serves its watcher and stargazer lists only to a repository's admins and collaborators, so add a token in the options page to use those two tabs. They show data for repositories your account owns or collaborates on; forks and the tab counts work without a token. A token also raises the API limit from 60 to 5,000 requests per hour. - Keyboard and accessibility: a real dialog and tablist with ARIA roles, a focus trap, arrow-key navigation between tabs, Escape to close, and respect for the reduced-motion setting. - Clear errors: rate limits, expired tokens, missing access, and network failures each get their own message explaining what happened and what to do about it.
