Overview

See GitHub commits and files changed since your last explicit checkpoint. Local-first, read-only, no backend.

RepoDelta - See What Changed Since Your Last GitHub Checkpoint RepoDelta adds a Delta button to GitHub repository pages and shows what changed on the repository's default branch since the exact revision you last marked as reviewed. When you return to a repository after days or weeks, GitHub can show commits and comparisons, but you still have to remember where you stopped and reconstruct the range yourself. RepoDelta saves that checkpoint locally and brings the intervening commits and changed files into one focused panel. Simply opening a repository never marks anything as reviewed. You can start tracking from the current default-branch commit, return later, and review the commits and files added, modified, deleted, or renamed since that point. The panel includes additions and deletions, path and status filters, version-pinned GitHub links, and chronological commit history. Additional commit pages can be loaded manually, up to 500 commit rows per comparison. When you choose Mark this revision reviewed, RepoDelta saves the exact SHA already displayed in the panel. If a newer commit arrives while you are reading, that newer commit is not silently marked as reviewed. RepoDelta also warns about changed default branches, rewritten or rewound history, replaced repository identities, and unavailable comparisons instead of treating them as ordinary updates. Tracked repositories can be checked automatically when revisited, while untracked repositories do not make a GitHub API request until you open RepoDelta. Checkpoints can be searched, removed, exported to JSON, or merged back from a local backup. Multi-tab protection prevents an older tab from overwriting a newer checkpoint. Public repositories can be checked without a token within GitHub's unauthenticated API allowance. For private repositories, you can optionally add a fine-grained Personal Access Token. The token is kept only in Chrome session storage, is sent only to api.github.com, and is never included in checkpoint backups. Temporary API results are cached to reduce repeated requests. RepoDelta follows GitHub's light and dark themes, supports English and Korean, and uses keyboard-accessible controls. It is read-only with respect to GitHub and does not create commits, issues, pull requests, releases, or any other GitHub content. There is no RepoDelta account, publisher-operated backend, analytics, advertising, AI service, or remote executable code. RepoDelta tracks the repository's default branch as one revision checkpoint. It does not provide per-file read states, scheduled background polling, browser-closed monitoring, release or issue tracking, or a full inline source-code diff viewer. RepoDelta is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by GitHub or Google.
