Overview
Chat-command AI copilot inside Gmail: summarize, triage and draft replies you approve. It never sends without your OK.
reply2mail puts a full AI email copilot inside Gmail — driven by chat commands, gated by your approval. Open any email and tell the copilot what you want: • "Summarize this" — instant summary of the thread • "Draft a polite reply" — a ready-to-edit reply, written for you • "Politely decline" / "Write a short thank-you" — one click away • Ask anything about the open email in plain language WHY IT'S DIFFERENT ✓ Approval-gated: reply2mail NEVER sends email on its own. Drafts are placed into Gmail's reply box — you review and hit send yourself. ✓ A real copilot, not autocomplete: it reads the open email, understands context, and acts on your commands. ✓ Per-email conversations: each email gets its own chat thread, with a persistent history you can revisit anytime (☰). ✓ Trackers: follow the topics that matter (a dispute, an order, a job application) — related emails attach automatically; see the summary, status and next step right in the panel (📌). ✓ Smart notifications: a desktop alert when a tracked topic moves or the agent flags an email for your attention — even when Gmail is closed. Plus a once-daily morning briefing. ✓ Rich formatting: drafts arrive as clean, formatted text — no markdown noise. HOW IT WORKS 1. Install and sign in (or continue with Google) — no mailbox connection or IMAP setup required. 2. Open an email in Gmail and click the reply2mail tab on the right. 3. Type a command or tap a suggestion chip. 4. Review the draft, click "Write to Gmail", then send it yourself. PRICING Free tier included (no credit card). Paid plans from $9/month for heavier use. One chat command = one credit; your credit balance is always visible in the panel. PRIVACY • The extension reads ONLY the email you have open, only to fulfill your command. • Email content is never sold, never used for advertising, and never logged. • All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS) to our backend at api.reply2mail.app. Privacy policy: https://reply2mail.app/privacy/ The contextMenus permission is used to add a right-click menu on Gmail so users can quickly trigger the extension's actions on the email they are viewing — "Summarize this email", "Draft a reply", and "Archive". The menu is shown only on mail.google.com (documentUrlPatterns), and selecting an item simply opens the extension panel with that command. No data is collected or transmitted by this permission itself. reply2mail is independent and is not affiliated with Google or Gmail.
