Repitch Companion

Helps Repitch write better AI narration by noting what you click while recording.

Repitch Companion works alongside the Repitch screen recorder (repitch.io). While a Repitch screen recording is actively running, it notes the clicks you make and the page changes that happen in your demo app, so Repitch can write more accurate AI narration for your demo video — narration that says "clicks Save" or "opens Settings" at the right moment instead of guessing. That is its only job. It does nothing at any other time. What it collects — only during an active recording: • The visible label of elements you click (for example, the text on a button). Note: if you click directly on visible page text, up to the first 80 characters of that text can be included in the recording notes • Nearby heading text, so the narration knows which part of the page you were in • Page web addresses (query parameters removed) and page titles • Timestamps, so each click lines up with the right moment in your recording What it never collects: • No keystrokes or typed text — nothing you type is ever captured. Clicks inside rich-text editors are excluded entirely, and text you have typed into form fields is never read • No screenshots • No browsing history outside of an active recording • Nothing while you are not recording, and nothing while a recording is paused Privacy safeguards: • Email addresses and card-like numbers are scrubbed inside your browser before anything leaves your computer • Captured data travels only to your own Repitch account, attached to the recording it belongs to • A recording indicator ("REC" badge on the extension icon) shows whenever capture is active • Website developers can exclude any element with a data-repitch-no-capture attribute Requires a Repitch account (repitch.io).
