Overview
Remove image backgrounds in one click. Hover or right-click any image. Runs on your device: free, private, no uploads.
Remove the background from any image on the web in one click, right in your browser. Hover over an image and click **Remove BG**, or right-click it and choose **Remove BG**. The result opens in a popup straight away, with a slider to compare it with the original. **Private by design** Everything runs on your device. Your images are never uploaded to a server, and there's no account, no tracking and no analytics. **Free, with no limits** No sign-up, no credits, no watermark. Full-resolution PNG output. **How it works** • Hover any image and click Remove BG, or right-click → Remove BG • Drag the slider to compare before and after • Keep it transparent, or put it on white, black or any colour • Download a PNG or copy it to paste anywhere • Open in a full page, or drop, paste or choose your own images **One-time setup** On install, the extension downloads its AI model once (about 94 MB). After that it removes backgrounds in seconds. **Your choice** Don't want the button on images? Turn it off from the extension's page, or by right-clicking the toolbar icon. Right-click → Remove BG keeps working. Powered by BiRefNet Lite (MIT), running locally with Transformers.js and ONNX Runtime.
