Overview
Remi in your browser. Ask about the page you're on, save what you find, and let Remi work in your tabs with you in control.
Remi is the AI workspace your team uses at remiapp.ai, and this extension puts it in a side panel next to whatever page you're reading. You can ask Remi about the page, save what you find into your workspace, and, when you ask it to, let Remi read and work in your tabs. It always checks with you before it buys, sends or deletes anything. ASK ABOUT THE PAGE YOU'RE ON Open the panel and ask your question. Remi reads the page along with your own documents and facts, so the answer fits your work rather than the whole internet. Add another open tab or two to the same question to compare them. A PDF open in a tab is read as text, and so are Google Docs, Sheets and Slides. Select some text, right-click and choose Ask Remi about it, and the same works for an image or a link. EVERY CHAT, BESIDE THE PAGE The panel holds your workspace's chats from the web, your phone and Remi Desktop, so you can carry on a conversation next to the page it's about. Search them down to a single message, and read the recent ones even when you're offline. Type remi and a few words in the address bar to ask straight from there. SAVE ANYTHING TO REMI Save a page to your library, a selection as a clip, a task or something for Remi to remember, a link to your reading list, or a table on a page as a Remi data table. Add a note as you save, and when you come back to the page, what you saved is marked on it, with your notes beside it. A save made offline goes out when you're back. LET REMI WORK IN YOUR TABS Ask from the panel, or from a Remi chat on your phone or the web, and Remi can open tabs, read pages, fill in forms and click through a task on the sites you've allowed. While it works, the tab glows at its edges and a small bar reads "Remi is working in this tab", with a Stop button on the page and in the panel, so you always know where Remi is and how to stop it. When a site offers its own tools for AI assistants, Remi uses them. DICTATE INSTEAD OF TYPING Press the dictation shortcut in any text box on a page, say what you want to write, and Remi tidies it into proper sentences where your cursor is. WATCH A PAGE Remi can check a page every hour, even one behind your login, and tell you when something on it really changes. YOU DECIDE WHAT REMI MAY SEE AND DO Remi reads a site only after you allow it, one site at a time or all of them if you choose. Banking, payment and password sites are blocked unless you let Remi in. Before Remi buys, sends, deletes, or fills in a password or card field, it asks you in a small Remi window that no web page can reach, and if nobody answers, nothing happens. Everything Remi has done in your browser is listed in Settings. Your workspace is kept in the EU, and nothing you put in it is used to train an AI model. You need a Remi account: sign in at remiapp.ai with your email or your Google account, and the extension signs in with it. The extension is in testing: it's out, and the people who asked to try it are using it while we fix what they find. It isn't in the Chrome Web Store or Edge Add-ons yet, and a Firefox version is in testing too.
