RemFluent: Netflix, Disney+ & Prime Video Language Learning
Overview
Dual subtitles and closed captions built from the audio, so they always match what's said. Netflix, Disney+ & Prime Video.
Learn a language from the shows you already watch. RemFluent adds dual subtitles (the original language plus a translation) to Netflix, Disney+ and Prime Video, and it builds closed captions from the audio itself, so the words on screen are the words actually spoken. WHY REMFLUENT IS DIFFERENT Other subtitle tools translate the subtitle file the platform already provides. That file often doesn't match the audio, especially on dubbed shows, and on some titles it doesn't exist in your language at all. RemFluent doesn't depend on it. It transcribes the audio track you choose and generates closed captions and a translation from that. You get subtitles that match what you hear, even when the platform offers none. WHAT YOU GET • Dual subtitles side by side, in real time: original language plus translation • Closed captions generated from the audio on Netflix, Disney+ and Prime Video • Tap any word to see its meaning, pronunciation and grammar • Furigana and romaji for Japanese, pinyin for Chinese • 17 languages, one install for all three platforms HOW TO USE 1. Install RemFluent and play any show on Netflix, Disney+ or Prime Video. 2. Open the RemFluent panel. 3. Choose the audio track and your translation language. 4. Click Generate. Dual subtitles appear over the video. SUPPORTED LANGUAGES English, Chinese (Simplified), Japanese, German, Spanish (Spain and Latin America), French, Portuguese (Portugal and Brazil), Arabic, Italian, Dutch, Swedish, Turkish, Indonesian, Russian, Polish, Azerbaijani and Vietnamese. PLANS Try it free: 2 episodes, no card required. Pro Pink: 60 hours of processing per month. Pro Glow: 120 hours of processing per month. Hours are shared between the extension and the web app, and yearly billing is cheaper. BEYOND THE BROWSER: THE WEB APP At remfluent.com you can use the same dual subtitles on your own video files and YouTube links, and turn any video into an Anki flashcard deck. FAQ Does it work if the show has no subtitles in my language? Yes. The captions come from the audio, not from the platform's subtitle files. Why don't the platform's own subtitles match what the characters say? Platforms translate their subtitle files separately from the audio, so on dubbed shows the text often differs from what is spoken. RemFluent skips that file and works from the audio. Which platforms does it support? Netflix, Disney+ and Prime Video, with a single install. Is it free? You can try 2 episodes free. Pro plans unlock more hours. RemFluent is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Netflix, Disney+, Amazon or Prime Video. All trademarks belong to their owners.
