Overview

Start a Relay news briefing from what you already read. Reads your Chrome history in your browser, only when you ask.

Relay is an AI news agent. You describe a subject, and it searches, reads and writes you a short briefing on it, with sources, every day or every week. This extension is the quick way to get started. Instead of describing your interests from scratch, let Relay look at what you have been reading and suggest the briefings worth having. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open Relay and start a new agent. 2. Choose "Browsing history" and press the button. 3. Relay reads your Chrome history, works out the subjects you keep coming back to, and suggests a short list of agents, each with a name and a description you can edit. 4. Tick the ones you want and create them. WHAT IT DOES WITH YOUR HISTORY - It reads your history only when you press the button on Relay's own page. It does nothing on install, on a schedule or in the background. - The history is filtered in your browser first. Shopping, banking, webmail and one-off visits are thrown out before anything leaves the page. - Relay's page then passes on page titles only, at most 2,000 of them, to work out your interests. The raw history is not uploaded. - The extension has no account, no server of its own and no permission to contact any website. It can only answer a question from an open Relay tab. WHAT YOU NEED A Relay account at joinrelay.me. Relay is in private beta: sign in with Google to ask for a place on the waiting list, or enter your access code if you were given one. WHAT RELAY DOES - Writes you a briefing of the few stories that matter on a subject you describe, each with what happened, why it matters and links to its sources. - Gathers every day, three times a week or once a week, at the time you choose. - Delivers in the app, by email, to a Slack channel or to a Telegram group. - Works for teams: colleagues join a desk and read the same briefings in one feed.
