Overview

A calm new tab that brings your tasks, tickets, pull requests and today's events into one focused dashboard.

Your new tab, minus the clutter. Relax the Kax replaces Chrome's new tab page with one calm, focused dashboard. Every time you open a tab, you get a beautiful daily photo, the Jira tickets assigned to you, and your Google Calendar for the day — instead of a wall of shortcuts and noise. Built for people who live in their browser and want their workday at a glance. ✦ What you get • New tab dashboard — Overrides the default new tab so every tab starts focused, not cluttered. • Jira tickets, front and center — See the tickets assigned to you, filtered by the statuses you care about: In Progress, To Do, In Review, Code Review, Blocked, or Done Today. Click straight through to any ticket. - GitHub & GitLab, your open work in one place — Pull requests where your review is requested, the PRs you've opened, and issues assigned to you — across both GitHub and GitLab. Drafts and review-requests are clearly tagged. One click takes you to the PR, MR, or issue. - Trello, the way you work — Show the cards assigned to you across all boards, or pick a specific board and choose exactly which columns to display. Flip on "Only my cards" to cut the noise. Due dates surface what's urgent. - Notion, always within reach — Your most recently edited pages, shared with the extension, ready to jump back into. - Linear, prioritized for you — The issues assigned to you, with their status and Linear priority, sorted so the important work sits on top. • Today's Google Calendar — Connect with one click and see today's events, complete with times, locations, and video-call links. Auto-refreshes every few minutes so it's always current. • A daily photo — A fresh, calming background from Lorem Picsum, cached for the day. One click for a new view whenever you want one. • A personal touch — Add your name for a small, friendly greeting that makes the page feel like yours. ✦ Private by design Relax the Kax has no servers and no backend. Your data never reaches us — it stays in your own browser and talks directly to the services you connect. • Your Jira email and API token are encrypted with AES-GCM (Web Crypto API) before they're ever stored. • Your GitHub personal access token is encrypted with AES-GCM before storage, and all requests are read-only — we only fetch your PRs, review requests, and assigned issues. • Your GitLab token is encrypted with AES-GCM before storage and used read-only (a read_api-scoped token is all it needs) to fetch your merge requests and issues. • Your Trello API key and token are both encrypted with AES-GCM before storage; we only read your boards, columns, and cards — never modify them. • Your Notion integration token is encrypted with AES-GCM before storage, and the integration can only see the pages you explicitly share with it. • Your Linear API key is encrypted with AES-GCM before storage and used read-only to fetch the issues assigned to you. • Google Calendar access is read-only and managed by Chrome's secure Identity API. • Every credential lives only in your own browser storage — there is no backend server, and the extension talks directly to each service's official API over HTTPS. • No analytics. No tracking. No ads. Ever. Read the full privacy policy: https://www.lekovicmilos.com/portfolio/relax-the-kax/privacy/ ✦ Setup takes two minutes Open a new tab. Add your Jira domain, email, and an API token. Optionally connect Google Calendar from Settings. That's it. Open source and MIT licensed.
