The extension stopped working for me today

Are there plans to make it work again? If not, do you know of any alternates? (Truly, I love it and would happily pay something for the use!)

How about the option of a text/plain version of quoting text?

Hey there! Nice extension. I was hoping it worked a little differently, and wonder what you think of this way of working. I would like it to work like this feature used to work in Gmail 15 years ago, when, if you highlighted text and hit reply, it resulted in something like this:

When I reply to emails and respond inline, it shows the author and and send time of the email I'm responding to. I think that would be better than the quite nice looking but less informative version of quotation that your extension currently produces.
