Hit your Claude usage limit mid-task, walk away, and come back at the right moment. Refill is an alarm clock for your usage limit. It watches for the moment your session or weekly limit is full, and rings the instant it resets. The popup shows how full each limit is, and when each one resets, in your local time. No token counts, no charts, no history. WHAT IT DOES • Detects when your session (5-hour) or weekly limit reaches 100% and arms an alarm automatically. • Rings at the reset with a sound and a notification that stays on screen until you act, with Snooze (10 minutes) and Dismiss. • "Alarm me at next reset" button, for when you are close to the limit and stopping anyway. • Shows how full your session and weekly limits are, and when each resets. • If both limits are full, it rings at the later reset, because the session resetting does not help while the weekly limit is maxed. HOW IT WORKS Refill reads the usage limits shown on your own claude.ai settings page, using the session you are already signed in to. It sends no prompts, uses none of your usage, and needs no API key, login, or account with us. If it ever cannot read your limits, it says so and sets no alarm. It will never invent a reset time. PRIVACY Everything stays on your device. Your usage readings and settings live in your browser's local storage. Refill has no server, no account, and no analytics in this version. REQUIREMENTS A Claude plan that reports session and weekly limits. On accounts with no limits to report, Refill will tell you there is nothing to alarm for. Single purpose (Privacy practices tab) Refill has one purpose: to alert the user at the moment their Claude usage limit resets. It reads the reset times from claude.ai, and rings a desktop alarm at that time. It does nothing else. alarms Wakes the extension on a schedule to check whether the usage limit is full, and fires the alarm at the reset time. A background timer is the only way to ring at a specific moment. notifications Shows the alarm itself: one notification when a limit is hit, and one at the reset with Snooze and Dismiss buttons. This is the product's entire output. storage Saves the last usage reading, the armed reset time, and which limit it was, so the alarm survives the browser restarting the extension. Local storage only. offscreen Plays the alarm sound. A Manifest V3 service worker cannot play audio, so an offscreen document is the only supported way to make the alarm audible. Host permission (https://claude.ai/*) Reads the usage limits and reset times from the user's own claude.ai session, which is the data the alarm is set from.
