Overview

Export YouTube video data to CSV or clipboard. No setup or account required.

ReelIn lets you export YouTube video data directly to a CSV file or copy it to your clipboard, ready to paste into Excel or Google Sheets. No account setup and no configuration required. WHAT YOU CAN EXPORT ReelIn works on four YouTube page types: • Channel Videos tab (youtube.com/@channel/videos) • Channel Shorts tab (youtube.com/@channel/shorts) • Channel Playlists tab (youtube.com/@channel/playlists) • Single video watch pages EXPORT FIELDS Choose exactly which columns to include in your export: • Video ID • Video Title • URL • Thumbnail URL • Duration • View Count • Upload Date • Channel Name • Channel ID • Subscriber Count • Is A Short (Yes/No) - *Not shown when on Shorts tab* Check only what you need. Save your selections as your personal default so they are pre-selected every time you open ReelIn. FILTERS Upload Date Range: Set a From and/or To date to export only videos published within a specific window. ReelIn fetches exact publish dates from YouTube automatically. Include Shorts toggle: Choose whether to include or exclude YouTube Shorts from your export on channels and playlists where both types of content appear. When Shorts are included, a dedicated "Is A Short" column is added automatically so you can filter them in your spreadsheet. VIDEO LIMIT Export all available videos on a page, or set a custom limit to stop after a specific number. ReelIn respects whatever sort order you have set on YouTube (Latest, Popular, or Oldest), so you stay in full control of which videos come first. CSV AND CLIPBOARD Export to CSV: Downloads a .csv file named after the channel or playlist. The file is UTF-8 encoded with a byte order mark so it opens correctly in Excel without needing an import wizard. Copy to Clipboard: Copies the data as tab-separated values that paste directly into Excel or Google Sheets with each field landing in its own cell. A toggle lets you include or skip the header row, which is useful when appending data to an existing sheet. Copy Video IDs: lets you grab every Video ID from your export in one click, ready to paste directly into tools, scripts, or playlists. Respects your active filters and date range. PRIVACY ReelIn does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. Your export data goes directly to your device. No analytics, no tracking, no third-party services. The only network requests made are to YouTube itself, the same site you are already browsing. Three UI preferences (your field defaults and clipboard header setting) are stored locally in your browser and never leave your device. WHAT REELIN IS GREAT FOR • Content research and competitive analysis • Building video databases for reporting or dashboards • Tracking view count and upload date trends across a playlist • Compiling video inventories for content management workflows • Exporting video URLs in bulk for use in other tools • ...and more! HOW TO USE Navigate to a supported YouTube page (channel Videos tab, a playlist, etc.) 1. Click the ReelIn icon in your browser toolbar 2. Select the fields you want exported 3. Optionally set a video limit or date filter 4. Click Export to CSV or Copy to Clipboard 5. Done ReelIn scrolls the page automatically to load all available videos before exporting, so you do not need to manually scroll to the bottom first. It's normal for the total amount of videos for the channel not to match the total amount of returned videos from the "Videos" tab, as not all of their videos will be there. SUPPORTED CONTEXTS IN DETAIL Channel Videos tab: Exports all regular videos from a channel's main video grid. Shorts that appear in the grid can be included or excluded with the toggle. Channel Shorts tab: Exports all Shorts from the dedicated Shorts tab. Title, duration, and view count are retrieved automatically since YouTube does not display them in the Shorts grid. Channel Playlists tab: Exports the videos inside every playlist visible on the tab, not just the playlist titles. Scroll the Playlists tab to load all playlist cards before exporting to ensure full coverage. Single video: Exports metadata for the video you are currently watching. DATA ACCURACY NOTICE ReelIn retrieves data directly from YouTube. While every effort is made to ensure accuracy, exported results should always be spot-checked before use in any critical workflow. YouTube periodically updates its platform in ways that may affect how ReelIn retrieves data. ReelIn and its developer are not liable for incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate data produced by the extension. Use of ReelIn constitutes acceptance of these terms. What's New in v1.2.0 • New: Copy Video IDs A new "Copy Video IDs (comma-separated)" button lets you grab every Video ID from your export in one click, ready to paste directly into tools, scripts, or playlists. Respects your active filters and date range. • New: Export warning notice A reminder is now displayed above the export buttons: leaving the YouTube tab during an export will cancel it.
