Save Facebook Reels and videos in HD with sound, and watch them in the quality you choose. Facebook has no download button and no quality setting: it picks the resolution for you, and even on a fast connection Reels often drop to 540p or 360p and look blurry. Reel Quality adds a Download button right above the Like button and a small quality button on the video, so you decide: HD 1080p, 720p or whatever the Reel offers. 📥 DOWNLOAD FACEBOOK REELS IN HD Click Download above the Like button, pick a quality (1080p, 720p, 540p…, each with its estimated file size) and the Reel is saved to your computer as one MP4 file with picture and sound. No watermark and no re-encoding: you get the same video Facebook streams, at the quality you picked. It's a Facebook Reels downloader and Facebook video saver built right into the page, so there's no website to paste links into. 🛠️ HOW TO USE 1. Open any Reel on facebook.com. 2. To save it, click Download above the Like button and pick a quality. Press D to open the same menu from the keyboard. 3. To watch it in HD, click the gear button (⚙) on the video and pick a resolution. Choose "Auto" to go back to Facebook's default. ✨ KEY FEATURES • Save Reels with sound: a Download button sits right above Facebook's Like button. Pick a quality (the estimated file size is shown) and the Reel is saved to your computer as a single MP4 with sound. Picture and sound are joined inside your browser, nothing is uploaded anywhere. Click the button again to cancel. • Real qualities only: the menu lists only the resolutions the Reel actually has and your browser can play. No fake upscaling, no made-up numbers. • Remembers your choice: the resolution you pick is applied to the next Reels automatically. If a Reel doesn't have it, the closest lower quality is used. • Expand landscape clips: many Reels are really a horizontal clip placed inside a vertical frame with black bars and captions. Reel Quality detects the clip and shows it large in the middle of the screen, at the best quality available. • See the real resolution: on "Auto", the button shows the exact resolution Facebook is playing (for example "Auto · 540p"), so you notice a quality drop immediately. • Auto-hide while watching: the button fades out after a few seconds so it never covers the video, and comes back as soon as you move the mouse. You can turn this off in the menu. • Handy keyboard shortcuts: press Q to open the menu, Shift + ↑ / Shift + ↓ to raise or lower the quality, A to go back to Auto, E to expand a landscape clip and D to open the download menu. Shortcuts are ignored while you're typing a comment or searching. • Movable button: drag the button anywhere on the video, or pick one of 8 preset positions in the menu. The position is kept when you switch Reels, resize the window or go fullscreen. • Smooth playback: sound, controls, looping and seeking are still handled by Facebook's own player. You never get a black screen while the new quality loads. • 20 languages, including English, Spanish, Portuguese, Indonesian, Hindi, Arabic and Vietnamese: the interface follows the language of your Facebook account. • Lightweight and safe: no popups, no sign-up, no complicated settings page. ❓ FAQ • Is it free? Yes, completely free, with no sign-up and no ads. • Is there a watermark? No. The MP4 is Facebook's original picture and sound, joined in your browser. • Where are downloads saved? In your browser's usual download folder, with a name like reel-123456789-1080p.mp4. • Is anything uploaded? No. The extension only fetches the video from Facebook's own servers. 🔒 PRIVACY & SECURITY Reel Quality collects no user data at all. There are no analytics or trackers and no servers of its own. The extension asks for no sensitive permissions, runs only on facebook.com and only loads video from Facebook's own video servers. Your quality choice, button position and display options are stored locally in your browser.
