Reel Controls (Minimal Bar)

Reel Controls (Minimal Bar) adds a thin, muted progress bar to the very bottom edge of Instagram Reels and feed videos, the way the Instagram mobile app shows it. It is designed to stay out of the way. The bar is 2px tall at rest and never covers the people-tag icon or the "audio is playing" icon. Hover near the bottom edge of a video and it grows slightly, shows the current time and total duration, and lets you: • Click anywhere on the bar to jump to that moment • Drag to scrub through the video • Right-click for playback speed (0.5x to 3x) and a Loop on/off toggle Your chosen speed is remembered for every video. Everything about the bar can be adjusted from the options page: thickness, opacity, fade while playing, the time tooltip, and the default speed. Privacy: the extension runs only on instagram.com, makes no network requests of its own, and does not collect, store, or transmit any user data. Settings are kept in Chrome's extension sync storage.
