🔴 Redkeep — your RedNote saves, finally findable RedNote — Xiaohongshu, if you have been using it since before the rename — lets you save posts far faster than its own album tool can sort them. A few thousand in, the backlog is unrecoverable: there is no search across your saves, and albums are managed one post at a time, in the app only. Redkeep reads your whole saved collection into your browser and makes it searchable — titles, authors, covers, all indexed locally. 📥 IT BRINGS THE WHOLE COLLECTION IN • Press start and it works through your saved posts a page at a time, inside whatever budget RedNote's own rate limit allows — about forty pages in a burst, then roughly one a minute • It wakes on a timer instead of holding a progress bar, so closing the panel, closing the tab or restarting the browser costs nothing: it picks up exactly where it stopped • The library is searchable from the first minute rather than the last. A collection of about 1,900 posts is 188 pages, and you can use the first one • A later pass walks the front of the list for whatever you saved since, instead of starting the 188 pages over 🔍 THEN YOU CAN ACTUALLY FIND THINGS AGAIN • Every title and every author is indexed in your browser and the whole library is held in memory, so search answers as you type — nothing is fetched and there is nothing to wait for • Filter by author or by media type, and search one folder or its whole subtree • A result opens the real post in the tab you are already in. The index is a way back to your own collection, never a copy standing in for it 🗂 AND FILE IT LIKE A FOLDER TREE • Build folders yourself: create, rename, nest and move them • File a batch in one pass — rubber-band a selection in the grid, or tick the cards you want, and move the lot in one action • An organiser tab that browses the tree the way a file manager does: a breadcrumb over both panes, a rail that collapses when you want the grid, and a grid that keeps loading as you scroll • Deleting a folder never destroys notes — they fall back to Unfiled 🔄 IT KEEPS UP WITHOUT RE-HARVESTING Save or unsave a post inside RedNote and the local library follows within seconds. No re-harvest, no stale rows. Nothing is ever created, moved or deleted in your RedNote account — the web version cannot manage albums at all, which is exactly why this builds an index beside it instead of trying to tidy the app. 🤖 AUTO-FILING, IF YOU WANT IT Let it propose the whole tree out of your own titles: one level or two, decided per topic rather than always, reusing folders it has already made instead of inventing a synonym for one of them. Folder names come out in Chinese or in English, whichever your saves are in — a separate choice from the language you read the extension in. Undo the entire run in one click; folders you made and notes you filed by hand are never touched, by the run or by the undo. A free account gets its first 200 notes filed, so you can watch it work before deciding anything. 🔒 PRIVACY, IN PLAIN TERMS • Your library lives in your browser's own storage. Searching, building folders, filing by hand and backing up never leave it • Auto-filing is the one exception and it is opt-in. What crosses is the title, author name and media type of the batch being filed, plus the names of folders you already have. And it cannot sort your saves into albums inside RedNote, because RedNote's web version has no way to manage albums at all.
