Reddot gives people a clearer way to connect. Choose one simple signal and display it next to your profile image on supported profile pages. Other Reddot users can see your signal, and you can see theirs, making it easier for the right conversation to begin naturally. You can also hide your Reddot profile completely, which removes your signal and stops showing signals from other users. Reddot is: • Free to use • Free from advertising • Available without creating another account • Available without sharing a social account password • Designed around one clear purpose • Controlled directly from the Chrome toolbar Privacy disclosure On a new installation, the main Reddot interface opens immediately with “Show my Reddot profile” turned off. The text beside that control discloses that turning it on allows Reddot to store and securely synchronize the profile page address, name, image address, signal, and visibility. No profile processing or synchronization begins until the user affirmatively turns on that control or selects “Enable Reddot” in Cookie settings. Full privacy details are available from Cookie settings. To provide its single purpose after that choice, Reddot reads and securely synchronizes the public profile name, profile URL, and profile image URL associated with the signed-in user on supported pages, the signal and visibility preference selected by the user, and public profile URLs visible on supported pages when checking whether another profile has a Reddot signal. Data is transmitted over HTTPS only to the Reddot service. Optional anonymous feature analytics remain off unless the user separately enables them.
