Overview
Copy Reddit links as vxReddit links so they embed in Discord. Independent helper for vxReddit by dylanpdx, made by nesnalica
Share Reddit posts on Discord with proper embeds. Reddit links often show up in Discord as a bare link or a broken preview. vxReddit fixes that: replace reddit.com with vxreddit.com and Discord shows the post's title, image or video. This extension does the swap for you. Three ways to copy: • Just copy a Reddit link as usual. When the copied text is a Reddit link, the clipboard gets the vxreddit.com version. Everything else you copy is left alone. • Right-click any Reddit link and choose "Copy as vxReddit". • On reddit.com, open a post's Share menu and choose "Copy as vxReddit". Optional: turn on "Include address bar copies" to also convert links you copy from the address bar. This asks for permission to read the clipboard and is off by default. Only the address changes. The post path, ID and everything after it stay exactly as they were. Works with reddit.com, www.reddit.com, old.reddit.com, new.reddit.com and m.reddit.com links. Privacy: no data is collected, nothing is sent anywhere, no tracking or ads. Credits: link previews are generated by vxReddit, an open-source project by dylanpdx (github.com/dylanpdx/vxReddit). This extension is an independent helper made by nesnalica. It is not made by or affiliated with the vxReddit developers, Reddit or Discord.
