Reddit Forum View
Overview
Flattens Reddit comments into a chronological forum view.
Remember the early internet — phpBB forums, vBulletin boards, and the simple joy of scrolling through numbered posts in order? Every reply had a number, every thread was readable, and nothing got buried six levels deep. Reddit Forum View brings that back. It reimagines Reddit's chaotic nested threads as a clean, chronological forum layout — the way online discussion used to feel before infinite nesting took over. What It Does Displays all comments in order with sequential numbering (#1, #2, #3...) — just like the old boards Shows conversation context inline — click to expand the full reply chain for any comment Paginates large threads so even massive posts stay as scannable as a classic forum page Collapse any comment card with a single click on its header Smart Defaults AutoModerator comments start collapsed so they stay out of your way Removed and deleted comments start collapsed automatically Your Forum/Reddit view preference is remembered across posts Configurable Open the settings page to adjust: Comments per page Timestamp format (absolute date, "2h 30m ago", or minutes) Whether to auto-collapse AutoModerator and removed comments Seamlessly Integrated Works on all Reddit posts — including on mobile, where nested threads are especially painful to navigate. Toggle between forum view and Reddit's default view anytime with a single button — no page reload needed. Privacy Reddit Forum View does not collect, transmit, or sell any data. All settings are stored locally in your browser. The extension only runs on reddit.com.
