Reddit Focus Mode - Hide the Feed

Reddit focus mode hides the home feed, r/popular and trending carousels so you can search and read without the endless scroll.

You open Reddit to look one thing up and lose twenty minutes to the home feed. Reddit Focus Mode hides that feed so Reddit stays a place you search and read, not scroll. It's URL-aware. The home, r/popular and r/all feeds get hidden, but individual subreddits, comment threads and search results stay fully usable. Trending carousels and the right sidebar go too. Where the feed used to be, a small card reminds you focus mode is on and gives you a one-click way back. How to use 1. Install it. Focus mode is on by default, so the feed is hidden the next time you load Reddit. 2. Click the toolbar icon to turn focus mode on or off, or to hide the floating on-page button. 3. On a feed page, use the floating Focus button or the card's "Show the feed" button to peek at the feed anytime. What it does - Hides the home feed and the r/popular / r/all feeds - Keeps subreddit pages, comment threads and search working normally - Hides trending and recommended carousels and the right sidebar - Applies before the page paints, so the feed never flashes in first - Follows Reddit's in-app navigation, so it keeps working as you click around - Works on new Reddit and old.reddit.com - Floating on/off button stays in sync with the popup toggle
